We are a non-profit organization formed in 2004 by Dennis Griswold. We are 25 volunteers dedicated to the improvement of Lake Pocotopaug and its environment.
The FLP members would like you to know what your support has done to help make our lake clean and safe for all to enjoy.
Because of you, we have made the following donations:

We do this by:
Raffles, Auctions, Wine Tasting, Charity Bead sales, N2N Energy Challenge, Celebrity Waiter Dinner, Celebrity Waitress Dinner, Donations from Individuals and local Businesses.
With Your Support, we plan on Continuing our work to improving lake Pocotopaug, East Hampton's treasure.


2004-Improvements to Sears Park

2005-Donation to E.H. Fire Dept. to retro fit a fire/rescue boat

2006- Donations to Sears Park for signage and stonework

2007- purchased 21 Ultrasonic machines for Algae Remediation/Control program

2009 Donations to East Hampton Police Dept. for their Police Boat

2010- Donated 15 New Buoys to mark hazardous areas

2011- purchased 4 additional Ultrasonic Devices

2012- purchased 3 more Ultrasonic Devices

2013- purchased more Ultrasonic devices

2014- donations to High School Rowing Club

2014- Eagle Scout Project- repairing rain garden at Sears Park

2015- Building New Rain Garden by Tennis Courts/Sears Park

2016- Sponsored a Summit Meeting to share Educational Facts about Lake Conditions

2016- Supported High School Student/Hydroponics Plant Project

2016- donated testing equipment to High School for Turbidity readings at inlets to lake

2017- donated Buoys for East Hampton High School Rowing Club Regatta

2018- Addressing issues from 9-Point Water Management Report-Funding the Edgemere Condo Waterfront Rainwater run-off retention project.

Annually closest weekend to Earth Day normally April 22nd.  we sponsor Lake Clean-Up in partnership with the towns Public Works Dept.   

On first Sunday in June we hold our annual Blessing of The Fleet
